Hero Xtreme 125R has only one rival in the Indian market and that too is Honda’s CB 125 Hornet. The pricing of both the bikes is almost equal but in terms of features, Hero Xtreme 125R has better features whereas Honda CB 125 Hornet has better engine noise and fit finish. All in all, Hero Xtreme is a better option for a sports bike in the budget of ₹1.20 lakh.

Hero Xtreme 125R Engine Performance
Hero Xtreme 125R is powered by a 125cc air-cooled, 4-stroke petrol engine that generates 11.4 horsepower and 10.5Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. The top-spec variant of the Xtreme 125R comes with three riding modes: Eco, Road, and Power, and also comes with Ride by Wire technology for a smoother and sharper throttle. Its performance and acceleration have improved significantly, as have smoother gear shifting, smoother throttle, and reduced engine noise. The bike offers both self-start and kick-start options.
