Launch Date

The Harrier Petrol is set to launch in the Indian market in December 2025 and early 2026. It will offer petrol engines while retaining many of the same features and technologies available in the diesel variants.

It features a large Harman multimedia touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof controls, connected car technology, and a JBL premium sound system with multiple speakers for an enhanced in-car experience.

Its safety features include a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, traction control, and hill descent control. It also offers Level 2 ADAS features such as Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Automatic Emergency Braking to help detect and prevent potential collisions.

Its split-level dashboard showcases a layered, horizontal design with a dual-tone finish, giving the cabin a spacious and stylish look. The SUV comes equipped with a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls for easy access to various functions.

It features multi-mode ambient lighting throughout the cabin, along with soft-touch dashboard and door trims that enhance its premium feel. It also features dual-zone automatic climate control for front and rear passengers, a panoramic sunroof with anti-pinch function, wireless phone charging, and multiple USB ports for added convenience.

Petrol Engine

The Harrier Petrol is expected to feature a 1498 cc (1.5L) GDi Hyperion petrol engine, designed for smooth city driving and balanced power delivery. It produces 170 bhp at 5000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque between 2000–3500 rpm, offering quicker throttle response and a refined driving experience for daily urban use. The petrol variant also comes with lower maintenance and running costs compared to diesel, while diesel engines remain more efficient for long-distance travel.
