Latest Motorcycle Reviews India: Ride into Informed Decisions

By the Bharat Auto Insights Editorial Team · Last reviewed 17 October 2026

The right motorcycle depends on your daily distance, your height and experience, and whether you mostly commute or tour. For most Indian riders a reliable 100–125cc commuter is the sensible choice; enthusiasts and highway riders should look at the 300–400cc segment.

How we review motorcycles

We look at seat height and ergonomics, low-speed tractability in traffic, braking hardware (ABS or CBS), real-world efficiency, pillion comfort and the strength of the service network — especially outside metros.

We do not publish invented mileage figures. Where we quote efficiency, we say whether it is the manufacturer's claim or a typical owner-reported range.

Where to begin

New riders should read our first-motorcycle guide before visiting a showroom. Commuters will find our fuel-efficiency shortlist useful, and anyone considering a retro bike should see our Royal Enfield Classic 350 versus Honda H'ness CB350 comparison.

Ride safe

A certified helmet is a legal requirement for rider and pillion in India. Budget for a good helmet, gloves and a riding jacket at the same time you budget for the bike.
